Learning to Drive can be one of the most dangerous skills a person can learn!  There are so many driving schools out there you can choose from, but only one company that can say they have trained the most new drivers in the past years,   that’s us!

Driving is something you are going to learn once, so you want to go with a professional company.  Believe me, when calling other schools you CAN tell the difference…..

• Are you put on hold, or worse yet, is the person talking to you from a cell phone perhaps even while while driving???
• Does the school offer the ICBC approved program? (Graduated Licencing Program)
• What year are their driving school cars?  (chances are, if they have a fancy car to drive, you are paying higher fees for that car!  Don’t get sucked in!  Learn to drive in a safe, reliable car that is always maintained by the company
• Are they running their company out of their home?  ALWAYS ASK TO SEE THE LOCATION!  Schools that do not have an office space should not have much overhead, therefore their prices should be much lower.  Schools who do have an office location, are generally much more professional!
• Do they run courses continually?  If not, WHY?  Not enough students?  That’s not a good sign!
• Is there EVER more than one student in the car at any time during a lesson?
• Do they take visa/mastercard/cash/cheque and debit?
• Do they offer a payment plan?
• How experienced are their instructors?  Many haven’t been teaching for more than a couple months…it’s best to get an instructor who has lots of experience.
• Do they provide a written form of how their students do?
• If you call during the daytime, do you get an answering machine or a live person?
• Do they know the area in which you are taking your lessons?  Ask specific questions, you want to make sure they are familiar with your location, not just a call centre somewhere far away that doesn’t have a clue!
• Refund policy - all too often we hear about driving schools taking money but not ever doing the lessons!  Don’t get caught in that!
